Field Work

This was my first day this season spent working in the field. We were planting walla walla onion transplants, shown above.

 The first day is always the hardest. It’s hard on my neck, my back, and especially my legs as I’m not yet used to all that squatting.

 Farming is not a game for wussies.

Which is why my husband does almost all the work.

 Below you will see what I look like after just an hour spent in the field.
