The farm stinks

Yes, stinks. It is manure spreading time on our farm.

 Well-rotted manure from the horse stable next door gets flung through the air (all the better to catch the breeze, I believe) unto the field.

 The nutrients from the manure soak into the ground, and replace those lost from growing vegetables last year.

 Even soil needs to be fed.
