One month blogging anniversary

I've been blogging for one whole month now. I've been having such a good time at it, I want to keep going!

In an effort to have more readers than I can count on my fingers (please know I appreciate each and every one of you!) and have to resort to my toes, I'm joining a blog party.

Amanda at Serenity Now (click here for more details on Serenity Now's blog party) is inviting bloggers to come together (virtually), have a look at each other's blogs, share information on our blogging life, and give comments.

I started blogging after reading "Petite Anglaise", a story of an Englishwoman's move to Paris, where she starts a blog.

My plan for this blog is that it be a light-hearted look at life on a small farm, from a non-farmer turned farm wife point of view.

Occasionally, a pinch of useful information will be thrown in for seasoning. I'd like it to be a respite from my reader's busy life; to see green things growing and have a chuckle or two.

My favourite thing about blogging is getting feedback - even if I just make my daughter laugh.

  3. Well, hello there! Thanks for linking up. Congratulations on a month of blogging. I'll encourage you to stick with it. The easiest way to find more Followers is to visit other blogs and leave thoughtful comments. :) Good luck, and have fun at the "party." ;)

  4. Hello! I love the premise of your blog. My family had a vegetable and fruit farms growing up. I have quite a few amusing stories - like jumping in the pond with the cows after picking tomatoes on a HOT Arkansas afternoon. We were relaxing and a fish bit a bump on my back - OUCH! Very funny and vivid memory! Thanks for bringing it back. Have a blessed week!

  5. I'm visiting from Amanda's party. I grew up on a farm and am a farm girl at heart. The only farming I do now is to have a vegetable garden each year and a yard full of flower beds. Good luck with your farm!

  12. Hi there! It's nice to meet you! We started a square foot garden last year, I am sure it is nothing compared to a real farm though.

  14. My Hubby would totally have me on a farm if he could. He threatened to bring home baby chicks the other day from the Tractor Supply Store, which would be fine if we didn't live in a subdivision.

    I'll be back!
